Well lets be honest, my car really hasn't done 694,978 miles. No, the odometer has been stuck there since I got my car jump started a couple of months ago. I finally decided to get that fixed today and have just spent the past few hours at the dealer while they replaced a BCM chip. Lovely.

What I found amusing is that because the chip shorted, there was no accurate count of the mileage. The bloke came out and said "we reset the mileage to 67,500 miles - does that sound about right?". So I had a bit of a grin and said "sure". I think it's about 3 or 4 thousand miles short - but I'm not going to complain ;-)
