Some days I really don't know what I'd do without CNN. Their little scrolly ticker thingy at the bottom of the screen can be a life saver. Really. Witness today's moment of Zen:

Today is January 29th, the 29th day of the year.

You think?

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's words of wisdom, hopefully it's something like "Today is Tuesday, the day before Wednesday".

Now I realize that having the Julian Date might be helpful later on in the year. Knowing that April 16th is also the 106th day of the year might be handy (ok, yes I looked it up). But if it's still January, I think I can probably work out from the date how many days into the year we are.
