[Moozik: Pop Will Eat Itself - Ich Bin Ein Auslander]
We're The Police, and we're backHeh. Extremely nice to see The Police on stage again even if they only played one song. And as an extra special bonus, they opened the show which meant I didn't have to spend any time fast forwarding. How convenient. You see long gone are the days where I can actually sit through the entire thing. I've read a few accounts of last night's show and was certainly glad I didn't cause myself unnecessary grief by attempting to watch live.
I did watch it. And it was horrible. They had a kind of American Idol Get The Chance To Dance With Justin Timberlake reality show thingy. And I can only wonder. Why? After the past few years you'd think I would have learned to not watch. The MTV/VH1/American music awards are no better. When did it become all Rap and R&B all the time? Sigh.
I actually ended up fast forwarding to the Chilli Peppers and they were good. Actually a little pedestrian but Flea and Chad seemed enthusiastic at least.
And yeah, there was an awful lot of Rap R&B wasnt' there? Not exactly my cup o' tea either sir ;-)
