128291_6321.jpgAdam Kennedy announced the new shiny strawberryperl.com today. "No more binary packages. No other installation required. Just a complete 100% CPAN capable Perl for your Windows® computer that's exactly the same as Perl everywhere else".


I think Strawberry Perl is a great idea. You get the mingw GCC C/C++ compiler and dmake bundled so that module installations via the CPAN shell are possible. Yay. No more hateful ppm.
