The Latest Email Faux Pas

I have a growing list of email annoyances that really needs a blog post of its own. Not annoyance with email itself, but the apparent inability for people to use it correctly. But until then, here's the latest example that made me roll my eyes and say out loud "please don't do that".

Please don't send an email to the entire company announcing that you will be on a "...badly needed vacaction...". While I'm sure you're very interesting and your vacation will be spectacular, I neither know who you are, or really actually care that you badly need a vacation. And please don't sign your email "Almost feeling the ocean breeze..." as you appear to be mocking me sir as I sit in my cube.
