So, The Third Pirates Movie Then

I liked the first Pirates Of The Caribbean movie. I did. It was funny and pure mindless entertainment, nothing more nothing less. The second movie wasn't as good. As I mentioned last January it was amusing in places but seemed to go on forever and the plot was all rather confusing. Last week I finally got around to watching the third movie. Oh dear. I really tried to like it. I swear I did. Again though, far too drawn out and confusing. A hundred little things going on at once with no cohesion.

Love him or hate him, Mark Kermode doesn't do a bad job of summing up my thoughts. I disagree with him about the first movie, but he makes some good points about the third.
