I've lived here for 37 years. Fortunately there is very little correlation between a warm February and a hot summer. Last year we had an ice-age style winter, and the summer was hot. I've seen us have an early heat wave, only to end up with a mild summer. Ok, mild is a relative term of course. It only gets up to 110 in July.
