About That Teambuilding

So yeah, yesterday was all teambuilding, all the time. And you know what? It wasn't actually that bad. I was pleasantly, pleasantly shocked. The BBQ in the park was a good laugh. In fact the only thing missing was beer. Why wasn't there beer?
Because that's when it changes from Teambuilding to Teamsnogging. You didn't know that?
We usually cap our teambuilding retreats with vino.
You're the first person I've heard of that didn't think their teambuilding sessions were worse than having their eyes poked out with a spork ;-)

Miss Sizzle... ooooh, a good Pinot Grigio would have gone done a treat now that I think about it.
Jake... now ordinarily sir I would have agreed with you and was thoroughly prepared for a suckfest. But it was actually good. Really. They did good.
Our team builder/IT dept picnic features poker tournaments, volleyball tournaments, cricket tournaments (not the dart game) and unofficially beer. I believe it was Fat Tire this past year.
There are a few managers that try to ruin it by over-organizing, but we have learned to tune them out.
Tony... Fat Tire? Good choice. Wait, you guys actually played Cricket? The proper cricket with stumps and bails? I'm impressed.
We have a significant number of employees from India here. Many of them play in a local cricket league on a regular basis. Quite a nice mix of cultures here.
Tony... ah, that explains it then. I thought it was a little odd for Americans to decide to play Cricket out of the blue ;-)
