A Few Too Many

[Moozik: Depeche Mode - And Then...]

The New Yorker has a rather long, yet excellent, article on hangovers. My own method of avoiding hangovers is to eat something, drink enough water to kill a horse, take a multi-vitamin pill, then sleep. Now if only I'd followed my own advice on Saturday night.

I like Alcohol-X. I thought it would be all marketing hype, but the stuff actually seems to work! http://www.alcohol-x.com/

I've heard about taking vitamins too. Just didn't know if it would do any good. I usually just drink a crap load of water. Seems to do the trick. Except when it doesn't. HA.

Eating is a must for me. Drinking water helps, but not too much. The other sure fire method is to drink heavily on a regular basis. That way your body gets conditioned to it. Its kind of like exercising your way into shape :)

Dave... I've never tried one of those over the counter hangover cure thingies. They work? I'll have to try them out.

Jake... Yeah I read about the vitamins too and so thought I'd try it out. Whether they're to thank for my relief or whether I'm drinking enough water I guess I'll never know. Still waking out without hangover is the goal so who cares what kind of aligning of the planets needs to take place for that. As long as I'm hangover free, I'm good.

Tony... Good tip. Must buy more Guinness then so I can "condition" my body. I hate it when you have to buy more Guinness ;-)

I never seem to remember to drink a glass of water between each drink. I try really hard not to 'break the seal" because once, you do, you are back and forth between the men's room... and too often at that.

USUALLY... it's a Vitamin B Complex, some Ibuprofen, some Pepcid, a meal and lots and lots of water...

but when it's unexpected... it's just sleep....
