Random New Yorkery

Not an awful lot of time to do much after class but still managed to sneak a couple of things in yesterday. 400,000 people decided to go to the Empire State Building and it was packed. Still, it was worth the wait as the view was amazing. Photos don't do it justice really.

Metropolis

Seeing Ground Zero was quite moving.

Ground Zero

After wandering around Wall Street and having a coffee next the the Stock Exchange, the next stop was a ride on the Staten Island Ferry. If you ever go to New York I wholeheartedly recommend catching the ferry as the views of the skyline are amazing. Of course the Ferry isn't exactly smooth sailing (ahem) so lady liberty is a little blurry but you get the idea.

Great photos, Kevin! Glad you made it up to the Empire State Building and got to see the Statue of Liberty. Esp. like your photo title of the "Superintendent of this station is . . ." LOL!!

You need to go to the bar at Rockefeller Center. It´s at the top floor, almost. Going to the toilet is the top floor and as you stand there minding your own business you look at NY from above. Peeing with that view makes you feel god like. LOL.

Goran - I wonder if the ladies can get the same view while "doing their business?" I somehow think we wouldn't feel as "god like" HAHAHAHA! :)

Göran... I didn't go up to the top of Rockefeller Center on my last day because the weather was really bad and visibility was almost nil. Next time I go to NY, I will pee from above and feel god like ;-)

Cindy... glad you liked those photos. You don't think you'd feel god like? LOL.
