Because I've been living in a cave I've never watched a single episode of Weeds. That is, until this weekend.
I watched the entire first season on DVD and I'm totally hooked. Elizabeth Perkins and Mary-Louise Parker are so good in this show.
I've been a huge fan of Mary-Louise for a while and loved her in The West Wing. I'm trying to think of when I saw Elizabeth Perkins in something. Probably Big now that I think about it.
Yeah, I watched Big when I was 14. What? You didn't?
I´m a late bloomer too when it comes to Weeds but I really really like that show. It´s such a great idea to tell a story about a community through the eyes of a weed selling mom with high morals. :-)
Need to get it on DVD too because it´s not showing here anymore :-(
To me, Elizabeth Perkins will always be Demi Moore's best friend in "About Last Night".
Oh, and it's Mary-Louise Parker - you have Marie-Louise.

I also watched Big when I was younger. I actually enjoyed it. At least I think I did. I was 10 so what the hell would I know. I've never seen Weeds either but have heard some good things about it.

sizzle... but is the movie still good after all these years? I've made so many mistakes re-watching movies that I thought were good in my youth only to find out they're really a big pile of poo. I'm looking at you Karate Kid ;-)
My love for the West Wing is at an almost unhealthy level, so I can relate to getting to know MLP (can I use that term here without being called lazy? Sometimes typing is so much work) through that show but I have to say, I disliked her on it and for some reason now I feel like I dislike her as a person. This is probably because I secretly thought Josh Lyman and I were going to get together and I didn't understand why he was spending his time with her.
Strangely, I always thought Donna was lovely.
Brandy... Oh I loved the West Wing. One of the best shows on TV in its day. I dunno, I kind of liked MLP in that show. But you see, I didn't have eyes for Josh Lyman so I didn't have your perspective ;-) I was always kind of hoping Josh & Donna would end up together. Thanks for stopping by.
Weeds is a great show. I've seen the first two seasons so far and need to get to the 3rd season here soon (I know it comes out on DVD, or is already out now). I've got all of the 3rd season episodes on my Mac and need to just make some time.
