Sedona
[Moozik: Combichrist - Can't Change The Beat]
This weekend we took a nice little break from it all and drove from Phoenix up to Sedona. Over the years I've been to Sedona quite a few times and it never ceases to take my breath away.
Photos never quite seem to do it justice. Certainly one of those places you have to see with your own eyes. If you ever find yourself with some time to spare in Arizona, you should go. Really.
Must find out how this bloke got up there. To the naked eye he was just a speck. Must have had the best view ever up there.
No ACME gadgets were on the tail of this runner of roads.
While driving I'm really quite bad at saying "oooh, quick take a photo of that out the right window"...
..."oooh, and out the left too". I'm surprised I wasn't punched.
Of course, Sunday was the Superbowl, and even in a tourist haven like Sedona, the locals had their priorities straight ;-)

That place looks incredible!
I'm not sure if it was featured in last year's series about the US States by Stephen Fry (watch it if you can, it was fantastic!) My geography is shit so I may be completely wrong ;o)
penelope... yeah I'd read that he was making a series about US States on his blog. I totally forgot about it though - must see if I can track that down. Oh, and yes, Sedona is amazing.
Sedona looks amazing. There´s so much to see in the States and so little time. *sigh*
At least I´ll get to visit Chicago this summer :)
göran... oh and don't I know it. I've lived here for 10 years and have only scratched the surface ;-) I've never been to Chicago either - another place on my list ;-)
I've been to Sedona years ago. It was fun, beautiful and amazing. I may make it there again this year... not sure. Getting summer trip with my daughter planned out.
marty... if you do make it out this way, drop me a line mate.
