Phoenix Pizza Recommendation

[Moozik: Orbital - Kein Trink Wasser]

Before I moved to the US I spent a couple of years in Italy. Got used to real Italian pizza and absolutely loved it. Loved it. The best Italian pizza I've had since I've been here comes courtesy of Pizzeria Bianco. If you're ever in Phoenix you must try it. Well, if you're prepared to wait for two hours for a table.

This weekend though, we stumbled across a pizzeria that deserves a big honorable mention: Grimaldis.

Pizza was amazing, service excellent, staff friendly and funny. And did those leftovers ever taste good straight from the fridge the next day? Cold pizza, yum. Yeah, I'm good like that.

Wow... I had no idea there were locations outside of Brooklyn! Love their pizza!

Italian pizza, is the only way to consume it, the non delightfully thin and un-crispy baked variety is just mush for the mouth.

I had never heard of these guys. I for sure will visit next time I'm in AZ or Vegas (or NY for that matter).

There's a brick oven pizza place here in Utah that I've been to multiple times (http://brickovenprovo.net/), but this place looks so much nicer.

dave... oh yes, it was all kinds of delicious.

spd... italian is the only way to consume it. Well, every once in a while though, Pizza Hut does hit the spot.

marty... ooh, I dunno mate, brick oven looks pretty good to me. Whenever we're in Utah we'll have to go try it. And say hello to you of course ;-)

Yum. Ok tonight we're having pizza. Unlike you, I prefer traditional Chicago style deep dish. Thicker and breadier the better. Yes, I just invented the word breadier. So go me.

Grimaldis ROCKS! I go there every time I go to Phoenix!

Oooh. There is one in Garden City in LI - I will have to try it! I've never been to the Brooklyn one, and I'm from there, LOL . . .

jake... breadier eh? I think I might have to use that ;-)

amy... it sure does, I'm so glad we discovered it!

queenb... oh yes, you must try it forthwith.
