[Moozik: Jesus Jones - Stripped]

My afternoon soundtrack today has been a veritable early 90s flashback. The Beloved, The Shamen, Jesus Jones. Bugger, I haven't heard Ebeneezer Goode in, well, forever.

Trips like these down nostalgia avenue really make you think don't they? Seems like a whole lifetime ago. That 17 years sure went by quickly.

Jesus Jones... I remember them. Great band. "Right Here, Right Now" got overplayed back in the day, but it's still a cool song. So is the rest of their music. Very nostalgic indeed.

Yeah I remember Right Here Right Now. It really did get overplayed and isn't one of the better songs on the album.

Sure has eh?

marty... yeah Jesus Jones were really quite good. Doubt was such a good album. Real Real Real, and Stripped are my faves. Oh bugger, all the songs are good.

jake... agreed - I actually skip Right Here, Right Now whenever I play that album.

nat... it's when you listen to songs from 'back in the day' you really do realize how quickly the years go by ;-)

You're younger than I am - quit making me feel so bloody old! ;o)

I have often thought about making a Falcon Dukebox CD and send it out everyone, EMF, inspiral carpets, jesus jones, nirvana, desmond decker, monkeys, charlatans, charles and eddie, bohemian rhaposdy, the clash, kinky boots, to name but a few.

I've just remembered Jase had that really awful bright purple Jesus Jones top. That has to be the next retro fashion trend, enough of the 80's here comes the 90's. In fact I'm off now to dig out my pie hat, loosefit jeans and PWEI green football top. Sorted

simon... oh I'd bloody love to hear that CD. So many songs bring back so many memories of the Falcon. I can't believe I forgot Charles & Eddie ;-) Oh I'd love that to be the next fashion retro trend. I know I still have some of my long sleeve PWEI tops somewhere. Sorted indeed.

I remember that awesome/arful purple 'thing'

Don't forget 'Sunshine on a rainy day' or Sidney Youngblood to be added to the Falcons Jukebox :-)

jase... my god, Sidney Youngblood. How could I have forgotten that one as well? Good lord that was an amazing jukebox in that pub ;-) Good times.
