Skinny Puppy are one of my favorite bands of all time. I remember listening to my first Puppy album as a teenager and being absolutely hooked. For whatever reason I never got around to seeing them live though.
I'll be remedying that situation however.
December 6th at the Marquee Theater in Tempe. I'm so there. If it's half as good as the ohGr show was last year, I'll be a happy boy.
How's this for a "six degrees of Skinny Puppy" thing? I saw Front Line Assembly years ago. Was too, er, inebriated to remember much but I know I was there.
jake... I didn't know you were a FLA fan. I've also seen them live. Many many moons ago in London when they toured the Caustic Grip album.

I had a date with a guy who was into skinny puppy. Can't remember his name but I remember the band.
Skinny Puppy plays here on Nov 6th. I am considering going. And Front 242 was a great band.
What is going on with the new album??? Its almost mid-September and its supposed to come out in 6 weeks by the end of October but no official mention of a single/tracklist/nothing!
I guess they might tour without an album this time? Could be good considering it frees up 4-5 songs on the setlist.
Hmm, just checked on some official band forums and it looks like no new album this year at all. SPV, their label, is in bankruptcy. Guess Puppy needs the $$ to cover the rent and hash habit! :D
nat... yeah they split up a few years back but got back together and have done a couple of albums since. Quite good ones actually.

james... yeah I had a peek at their site and noticed they weren't actually touring a new album this time around. I don't mind though. Just seeing them live will be good enough for me.
They play Portland 11/2 the day after I see The Damned at the same venue. Debating if I want to go.
