California - Day Three

The day started out a little overcast as we went down the the beach to dip our toes in the Pacific.
I like Huntington Beach. Surfers entertain you. They keep themselves upright...
...and they play the surfboard drums.
And then, a quick 30 minute drive north revealed the sun, and Universal Studios.
And just like that, it was 6:30pm and time to head home. Back to Phoenix. Getting caught in LA freeway traffic and finally rolling into the driveway sometime after midnight. Tired. But having had the best time.
I'd do it all again in a heartbeat.

Starting the day at the beach and then ending up at Universal Studios, that would be a full day.
A long drive back home would be hard, especially all the way back to Phoenix.
Glad your Calif trip was great.
jonathan... yes a good time was had by all. Didn't want to come home.
göran... oh I know mate, that one inch of wild water was causing him some problems ;-)
marty... yes it was a full day. But we had so much fun and that made it all worthwhile. I was the only one awake in the car driving back though. Which, you know, was a good thing ;-)
