California - Day Two

[Moozik: Front 242 - Circling Overland]

We had planned on going to Universal Studios. But it was a little too rainy for that.

Sunny Day

So instead we drove from Anaheim into Los Angeles and then to Hollywood.

Capital

After driving the wrong way down Hollywood Blvd into a rather shady area of town we eventually found the Chinese Theatre.

Chinese

Michael Jackson's star on the walk of fame had the biggest crowd around it.

Michael

Turns out stars have tiny hands...

Sam

... and evil dooers are easily polished off. (nice facial expression Spencer)

Death

Then it rained some more. So head inside for a bit of a wax...

Anthony

...and then premium burgery at Johnny Rockets.

Dining

Rainy impromptu days are often the best kind.

Hollywood Blvd. Nice.

Nice lightsaber move on Darth.

Raining in LA? You have spoiled all my dreams.

marty... it's nice if you drive the right direction. If you drive the wrong direction, we found you enter scumbtown rather quickly ;-)

dan... you're most welcome sir.

I'm here to add a bit of culture to your life, Kev. I am a big fan of your photos and use some of them in my photography lessons (you can whistle for any royaly payment!). Thought you might like to look up 3 artists that use similar sunject matter to some of your photos in their paintings. All 3 really capture Americanism (that sometimes only foreigners see).

Richard Estes
Ralph Goings
Robert Cottingham

Sounds like my kind of day... I love wandering aimlessly through towns.

Yeah, y'know, 'cause Luke broke out in a fit of hysterics after slaying Vader, right? ;-)

simon... thanks mate. You actually use some of them in your lessons? Wow. That's cool. And thanks for the tip about those 3 artists. In my old age I'm finding that I love this kind of thing, so please keep the recommendations coming mate.

nat... oh I know, so do we, and we always have fun.

kapgar... the bloke in the Vader suit was really funny and I couldn't stop cracking up ;-)
