So What's In A Name?
I've never liked the name of this blog and always thought it was a bit crap really. So now I've just renamed it to, well, something probably equally as crap actually.
But hey, at least kevinspencer.org matches the domain name at last. So, er, yeah, nothing really to see here then. Just thought I'd mention it.
You know, as you do.
I like the new name, but the previous name was also something that I liked, too. Useless Bollocks.. although I admit that a lot of your posts were very useful.
marty... thanks mate. A lot of my posts are bollocks though. The bollocksy content isn't going to change, just the bollocksy name ;-)
I'm seeing this more and more. I guess people are more comfortable branding their blog with their name now, and are abandoning anything that gets in the way of that. I had seriously considered it last Spring, but when I look around it's probably too late for me. "Blogography" is pretty much my established identity now, so changing it would be like starting over from scratch. :-(
I must say though... your title of "Kev's Useless Bollocks" always brought a smile to my face every single time I visited your blog!

dave... well with mine, the domain was never kevsuselessbollocks.org so having a different blog name never really did make much sense to me. I just never got around to changing it. Blogography really is your established identify (and your domain name) so changing yours doesn't make as much sense after all this time. Plus Blogography is a cool name anyway.

kapgar... the title has already changed in both the atom and RSS feeds (I just checked them both). I can only presume that certain feed readers don't handle name changes as well as they could.
So i'm guessing as an .org you are looking for donations? HA HA HA

I like the new name. You sell yourself short with the whole useless thing.
I might drop the first comma. I think it gives more emphasis on the pants as a funny afterthought. Unless you're going for a dramatic pause after the englishman.
Either way, dropping the bollocks is a sign of maturity (pun intended). Good job.
