Beside The Seaside, Beside The Sea
The British seaside. There's nothing like it. And you really appreciate it when you've been away for so long. So many good memories. Buckets, spades, sandcastles, ice creams, arcades, and getting sand where sand doesn't really belong to be.
And in true British fashion, ominous clouds are ominous. But rain on the beach is all part of the fun really.

That looks lovely.
Nice shot, those clouds look awesome.
@megan, yeah it's really nice down there. We really enjoyed it.
@jake, thanks mate
Since I've never been there but you have been there and to at least one of the beaches on the west coast (assuming I read your Disney trip blog posts a couple years back right), how do the beaches compare?
@marty, yep you remember well - we did go down to a beach on the west coast a couple of years ago. The actual experience of both beaches is quite different. We went to Huntington Beach in LA so it was cool to see the surfers and the Pacific Ocean is much cleaner than the North Sea. But the overall British seaside experience is what I love because it brings back so many memories of when we were kids.
