Wiki Loves Monuments
I'm doing the Wiki Loves Monuments photo challenge this month. They list a number of historic landmarks in your area and encourage you to go out, shoot and upload them. The goal being to improve the number and quality of photos of historic monuments on Wikipedia.
I think it will be fun as this is exactly the kind of thing that's, er, my thing. And because it's open worldwide, if it's also your thing, why not go out and take a few shots too?

That is a great idea, I'm going to go see if there's anything near me to take some shots of.
