• We went to see Despicable Me at the weekend. The cinema was absolutely jam packed and we were lucky to get seats together. It was really really good. Not Toy Story 3 good, but good nonetheless. Go see it, 8/10.
• While coming back from the bathroom at the cinema, The Sorcerer's Apprentice ended and a flood of people came out all looking happy. Loudy McShouterton announced "that was awesome" at the top of his lungs. Not sure I'm going to take his word on that, but he sure was enthusiastic.
• For the first time ever, I watched the British version of The Office last night. I've got to be completely honest, I didn't think it was that good. Perhaps if I'd seen the Gervais version first before getting hooked on the Steve Carrell American verison I would have liked it more. I dunno.
• What is it about Mini Coopers that makes them so bloody irresistible? Just for the record, I'd love one. So if anyone reading this would like to buy me one or contribute to the buy Kevin a Mini Cooper fund, just shoot me an email and we'll have a very pleasant chat.
• That when the traffic light goes green, you still sit there for a good ten seconds before the cars in front of you decide to actually move? It's green people, the accelerator is the pedal on the right surely.
• That people feel the need to do a reply-all on an email pointing out when I've made a mistake? Thanks for making me look like a douche, I appreciate that.
• That it's ok to spend a million dollars on a burial? When I die and I have a spare mil laying around, I'm thinking there might be better uses for that than putting me in the ground.
• That bands insist on changing the live versions of songs? Leave them alone, we liked the album version just fine. I'm looking at you Gary Numan - changing your live Replicas set into some goth-metal crapfest.

So I'm all very surprised. For this appears to be an electric car that doesn't actually suck. No moving parts, no need for servicing, cool little colored ball feedback thingy. What's not to love?
As long as hyrdrogen stations are in abundance, I'd certainly buy one.
