My Ultimate Cure Setlist
The Cure are one of my favorite bands of all time. Had all their albums on vinyl, posters on the wall of my bedroom as a teenager, you name it. For one reason or another I didn't get around to seeing them until 2008 when they played in Phoenix. I'll never forget that night.
(yeah, cameras weren't the best in 2008)
Fast forward to this weekend, and they played their 40th anniversary show at Hyde Park in London. By all accounts a great gig to be at. The setlist was actually pretty good, albeit a "safe" greatest hits endeavor.
If I were picking the setlist it would consist of gems they rarely play live anymore. Depending on mood this would likely change but it would resemble something like this.

I got to see them back in 97 or 98 as per of a local radio station's Christmas show. So it wasn't a show dedicated to them but it was still good.
Nice! Were they the "headliners" at least?
The setlist when I saw them at the Royal Festival Hall a couple of weeks ago was a little less hits-based.

Yeah, of the two gigs I think you certainly went to the better one based on setlist. To be honest I was a little disappointed their 40th anniversary "event" was just a greatest hits concert. No Lol, no Boris, no Porl, no Perry. Just a gig. Ok.

It's been a long time since I listened to the Faith album. All Cats Are Grey is one of my favorites though.
Faith the album holds up really well. I think I'll listen to it today in fact.
