Words On A Page

2019 has not been the "year of reading" for me. A few weeks ago I lamented:

I wish my reading habits were consistent. It's been over a month since I picked up that book.

If by "book" I mean Kindle then that's still correct, and there it sits in a draw uncharged as we speak. Last night I caught myself wishing I had an actual physical book with real pages and stuff. And maybe that's the problem?

So in an effort to kickstart this thing I'm going to keep the Kindle in the draw and go old school. The Amazon fairy tells me the first book arrives tomorrow.

Ha! I do love reading a book still. I do bulk reading on holiday and tend to leave them behind for the next set of peeps.

Kindle on my phone still comes in handy tho.

What sort of thing floats your boat? I might have some recommendations…

That's a cool idea to leave them for the next folks. Mate, I'm open to anything. So pretty much if you liked it I'd love to hear about it.

I mostly use a Kindle to read books. I recently retired a 5 year old Kindle Fire HD 7" cause it was painfully slow turning pages and opening apps. I've switched to the Kindle app, which is so much faster and less frustrating. I'm in hopes that it will have me reading more often than I have been the last 5 years.
