Street art is one of my favorite things to go hunting for. And Phoenix has plenty of nice surprises.

The Bowie tribute mural can be found on 7th Street going south as you approach McDowell road. Painted last year but I didn't ever get around to getting a close up until now. Photos do it no justice. Stunning when you're up close.

Captain Spaulding is a new addition here. They redo this house quite often so it's cool to swing by every couple of weeks to see what they've done with the place.

I can't think of anything I'd rather have with my meth infused molly that's for sure.

I'm quite a big fan of Street Art. I love stumbling across murals while out and about in the City. I've often wished I could meet the artist just to let them know how much I admire their work.

One such artist, as it turns out, is Fransisco Garcia. Whose work, unknowingly, I've shot a couple of times.

As luck would have it, while we were out getting breakfast in Glendale on Saturday we bumped into him. He was just setting up to paint behind the new La Santisima Taco Shop in Glendale.

Super nice guy. He'll be there for a few more weekends and invited us to go back anytime to see his progress.
