On Upgrading WordPress Part 2
The other day I was worried about a thing. I didn't need to be worried about a thing. It all "just worked".
And breathe out.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again… I love not having to worry about all this.
It's so much better than the early Movable Type days where you really span the roulette wheel of works/busted/dead. Don't remember many 'works' without tinkering.
I worried about it as well. Still have Banal Leakage at 4.9.9, which means I still need to make time to do a backup of the database and files (takes me about 30 mins). With a major version upgrade, the worry is warranted, even if it works just fine.
Yeah. I was worried as I have no real way of testing an upgrade. If I could find some commitment online for their support of security patches of 4.x I probably wouldn't have upgraded. In the end "fuck it" won out.
