It only took a little over 12 years, and almost slipped by me. But a couple weeks back I crossed the 400,000 scrobble count over at last.fm. There aren't many of the old guard still scrobbling every day and I must admit I don't spend anywhere near as much time there as I used to. But I do still love me some music listening stats. And I'm glad Spotify still has last.fm support baked in now that I'm fully immersed in streaming.
That's a big milestone. And nice to know Spotify supports last.fm.
Now the only thing I ask is either (a) Spotify fix the metadata on their tracks so that song names don't have "2011 Remastered Version" in them or (b) last.fm auto-detect the track has this superfluous metadata and remove it (c) last.fm allow us to fix it ourselves via the API. It's annoying having 12 years of scrobble history for some tracks and yet last.fm thinks I'm scrobbling a new song when it sees that extra fluff. Did I mention it was annoying?
